Tour Itinerary
This tour takes you out of the fast paced life of New Delhi. As you enter the road of Old Delhi – you will feel the difference – in the way things and vehicles move here! Pace is a bit slow and life eases out as you draw close to the relics of yester years!
After being picked – up from the hotel; the first place where you will be taken to is majestic Old Fort which has passed the test of times. Installed on a three – tired arched pavilion, it’s the fortified city of FEROZABAD. Inside this you will see the Ashokan Pillar with original inscriptions of Emperor Ashoka on it. Your Guide shall take you around and help in describing what all is written on the Pillar. Here you shall also see the Tomb of Safdarjung. Do not miss the grandeur and simplicity of this Tomb on visiting it!
From here move on to see the famous Lodhi Garden (famous for its tombs and natural beauty – Sheesh Gumbad and Bada Gumbad – under the protection of Archeological Survey of India), Humayun’s Tomb (Actual tomb of Emperor Humayn), Akshardham Temple (Shri Swaminarayan Temple), Qutub Minar (2nd largest minaret of India). A trip to OLD Delhi is incomplete without a visit to the market Chandni Chowk.
