Tour Itinerary
Day 01 - Kochi

It’s a combination of nature, man – made beauty, wildlife and aroma – which makes it so different. And this is what people from all over the world come to see and experience. In this 8 day tour; this is what we try to offer you in the best possible way!
Day 02 - Kochi to Munnar
Next day, soon after a hefty South Indian/Continental breakfast; we will set off to Munnar . Munnar which is a popular hill station of District Idukki; has been a summer resort of British India! Many reminisces of that era can still be seen in form of old buildings and houses. With 3 rivers flowing in; it has got a Savannah forest, scenic valleys, splashy waterfalls, sprawling tea – plantations and sky – touching hills. It’s simply nature which sings all around! So, we will begin with seeing the Tea Plantation and the entire process of making tea (TATA Tea Museum). It will make for most of the day. In the evening we shall return for dinner and night stay.
Day 03 - More of Munnar
On the third day of the tour, we shall explore more of Munnar. The first thing we will visit is the Ervikulam National Park. It is famous for Endangered Mountain Goat of South India and Nilgiri Tahr. Also see epiphytic Orchids, wild balsams, Nilgiri Langur, Indian Bison, Leopard, Tiger and so on! Lunch will be at the resort in National Park only. After lunch we shall move on to see Matupetty Dam, Anaimudi Peak and the Echo Point. You can take a walk in the local market in late evening if you wish. Dinner and night stay shall be at the hotel.
Day 04 - Munnar – Kumarkoam
Next day, soon after finishing breakfast, we will move on towards Kumarakom by road. Kumarkoam is famous for 2 things – it’s backwaters and Kettuvulumns! It’s a backwater hub located in a cluster of Islands on the lake Vembanand. On reaching here, we will take you to one of the best Backwater Resorts. After refreshment, we will take you to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Enjoy the first half exploring the wild beauties as they chirp all along. Lunch shall be served in the Resort. After lunch we will be back to enjoy water skiing/sailing. Those not interested can enjoy the evening in the Backwater Resort where dinner and night stay is scheduled.
Day 05 - Koyattam– Alleppey
Next day we will move towards Koyattam. On reaching Koyattam, we shall get on Ketuvallums or Kerala Houseboats and reach Alleppy. This is the day when you enjoy a stay on board. Get prepared to be served fresh water fish and dishes dished out straight out of Houseboat kitchen. You can even try fishing and cooking here if you wish so. Enjoy fresh coconut water, filter coffee and sitting in the balcony of the boat as it rows slowly on Vembanda river. Enjoy dinner and over-night stay in the houseboat only.
Day 06 - Alleppey – Kovalam
Next morning, soon after you finish your breakfast, we will hit the road to reach Kovalam. On reaching Kovalam, check – in the hotel and relax. In the noon, we will take you to the Kovalam beach to enjoy Water Sports like Surfing, Kayakeying and Open Sea Water Swimming. This internationally renowned beach town offers one more thing – Kerela Ayurvedic Therapies and Messages (These are good for body and mind relaxation. Ayurvedic messages are also internationally acclaimed for relieving pain from various ailments like migraine, spine, back pain and so on). You can enjoy these too in the latter half of the day at your hotel which will be equipped to offer such services. Dinner and night stay at the hotel.
Day 07 - More of Kovalam
Next day sight – seeing we shall see Padmanabhaswamy Temple (one of the 108 Vishnu Temples or Divya Desams of South India). After visiting the temple and knowing a little history of it by our tour guide; we will move on to see Napier Museum (Natural History Museum) and Sri Chitra Art Gallery (contains original paintings of Raja Ravi Verma, Svetlova and Nicholos Roerich). In the evening after lunch, visit the Ponmundi Hill Station (filled with spice n tea plantations, waterfalls and mini zoo with Barahsinghas ). For dinner and night stay we shall drive slowly towards the hotel.
Day 08 - Kovalam – Trivandrum – Departure
On the last day of your tour; after having breakfast; we will travel to Trivandrum by road (only 16 kms away). In the afternoon, we will see you of returning to your home!
