Tour Itinerary
Day 01 - New Delhi to Leh
On arrival, you will be met by a travel representative who will assist you in transferring the hotel. Leh, which was the former capital of Ladakh is known for its picturesque beauty. Its deserts are the coldest in the whole world. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 02 - Leh sightseeing
After a sumptuous breakfast in the morning, visit Shey monastery which has brilliant architecture. A 39-feet high statue of Sakhyamuni Buddha is present inside the monastery. Next, visit Thiksay Gompa, the largest monastery in Central Ladakh. Thereafter, visit Chamba Dhukang temple where a 14-m high statue of Future Buddha has been installed. Subsequently, visit Hemis monastery which is renowned for the Hemis festival. Dive deep in its spiritual aura commingled with traditional dance and music performances. Return to Leh for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 - Leh to Hunder
Early departure from srinagar to kargil by car/coach via sonmarg and Baltal hamlets crossing the Zoji-la Pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 m) and then passing through Drass (famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world) and after a passport check you finally reached to Kargil.After a delicious breakfast in the morning, proceed to Hunder, a small village in Nubra valley. En route drive past, Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable road in the world and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the surrounding areas. On reaching Hunder, enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Nubra Valley. After spending some time here drive further to Bantam town of Hunder. Stay overnight in camp tents under the azure sky.
Day 04 - Hunder to Dikshit
After a scrumptious breakfast in the morning, visit Chamba monastery of Hunder and get intoxicated in its blissful environs. Thereafter, begin your camel safari tour. Enjoy the ride on a double-humped Bactrian camel’s back and savor the beauty of glistening sands in the vast desert. Arrive at Dikshit which is the capital of Nubra. After reaching Dikshit, visit Dikshit village which gleams with a quaint look. The village is the most Happening place of Nubra valley. Next, visit the monastery which is the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra Valley in Ladakh. Stay overnight in the camp gazing at the stars.
Day 05 - Dikshit to Pinchimic
After a lavish breakfast in the morning, drive to Tegger village. After reaching Tegger, drive to Samstanling village and visit the monastery located in the village. The monastery is located on the foothills of Karakoram ranges and provides a panoramic view of the entire area. Thereafter, ride on a camel’s back in order to relish an adventurous journey to Pinchimic. En route, enjoy the beautiful vistas of the valley. On reaching Pinchimic; halt for the night in camp tents.
Day 06 - Pinchimic to Panamic
After breakfast in the morning, ride on a camel’s back-the ship of the desert in order to reach Panamic. En route, enjoy a scenic view of the place. Arrive at Panamic, a relatively calm village. The striking part of the place is the hot springs located in the midst of a cold desert adjacent to which a cold river is flowing incessantly. Stay in the camp for the rest of the night.
Day 07 - Panamic to Leh
Before the break of dawn, drive to Leh. En route stop at Ensa Gompa, a 250-year old monastery located on top of a rock with snow covered mountains of the Nubra valley as a backdrop. Continue your journey to Leh. On arrival, check into the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 07 - Leh
After a delicious breakfast in the morning, go on a shopping spree exploring junk jewelleries, ethnic handicrafts and other shopping items of interest.
Day 09 - Leh to New Delhi
After a hearty meal, you will be transferred in time to the Ladakh airport to fly back to Delhi.
