This tour itenary covers the best tourist destination across North India. It includes visiting World Heritage sites, One of the Seven Wonders of the World and a reflection into the Rajasthani Culture and diversity.
Tour Itinerary
Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
New Delhi is the place where you will land on the first day of your tour. Our escorts will pick you up from the airport and take you to hotel for stay in. Check in the hotel and enjoy the welcome drink. Enjoy the comforts of the hotel on the first day. Night stay will be in the hotel.
Day 02 - Going around Delhi
Delhi is not only the Capital of India but also a historical hub. Since it has been the capital of so many Kingdoms; it’s more than just a mirror of the bygone era. We shall begin with Old Delhi seeing the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Qutub Minar. After this Lodhi Gardens known for their chatris and minarets; Lotus temple (Bahai Temple); India Gate (Monument for all those Indians who lost their lives in World War I) and Chandni Chowk – local Delhi market famous for ethnic Indian dresses, jewellery and local food. In the end we will show you the “Dance of India Show”. After a good go around of the city, we will be back in the hotel for dinner and night stay.
Day 03 - Delhi and Varanasi
After breakfast at the hotel, we shall take you to the airport to catch flight to Varanasi – the Land of Holy Ganges River! It’s the land where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon in the land called Sarnath. In the evening we shall take you to one of the many Ghats of Varansai. Here you can see the enthralling “Ganga Arti” in the evening. Here you can also enjoy the smooth sunset experience. Night stay and dinner is scheduled at your hotel in Varanasi.
Day 04 - Varanasi
This holy place of Hindus is famous for 3 things – river Ganges, Sarnath and Sankrit. It’s the place where Sanskrit language and Ved (Hindu Scriptures) are taught in Benaras Hindu University. You can see it from outside. The first half of the day is scheduled for a trip to Sarnath (around 12 kms from here) and the second half for a Vishwanath Temple. After this, take a boat ride along the ghats of Ganga river. In the evening, you can take a walk around the town. Night stay and dinner at the pre – booked hotel only
Day 05 - Varanasi and Delhi
We shall be taking the first flight to Delhi next Monday morning. After lunch, we shall move on to Agra by road. Agra is famous for two historical monuments – Taj Mahal (One of the Seven Wonders of the World) and the Agra Fort. We shall reach Agra in the evening which is a around 6 – 7 hours drive from Delhi. Night stay and dinner has been arranged in one of the best hotels of Agra.
Day 06 - Agra
Taj Mahal is the first thing we shall see in Agra. Made by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal; it’s made of pure white Marble brought from Makrana. It took 17 years to build this astonishing piece of architecture. After this we shall serve you a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. After this we shall set off to see the magnificent Agra Fort built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1525. It includes a number of monuments inside it. Evening is set for a roundabout of the city and shopping for souvenies. Night stay and dinner in the hotel….
Day 07 - Agra and Jaipur
Next morning after breakfast at the hotel, we will set off to Jaipur by road. On reaching Pink City of Rajasthan; we will check – in the hotel. You are at your own for the rest of the day; so sit back and have dinner in the hotel.
Day 08 - Jaipur
Jaipur is a beautiful city in every sense. The first half of the day we will spend seeing some of the historical places like Hawa Mahal and City Palace. In the afternoon, after lunch you will be of on a flight to Udaipur – your next destination. Here the evening is set for relaxation at the hotel with dinner and night stay.
Day 09 - Udaipur
Udaipur the City of Lakes is surrounded by lakes. Here you will get to see water all around you. And in this place we will take you to City Palace (the royal family of Udaipur still lives here in a portion of the palace), Lake Palace (Octopussy was shot here), Fateh Saagar Lake (the most beautiful and serene lake), Jag Mandir (ages old temple) and Lake Pichola. For those who wish to take snaps of the entire Udaipur city in one go – going to Karni Mata Temple is a good idea. Dinner and night stay shall be at the hotel only.
Day 10 - Udaipur, Ranakpur, and Udaipur
From Udaipur we shall leave early morning to reach Ranakpur. Although Ranakpur is a small town, yet it is filled with natural beauty. Here we will see the beautiful Jain Temple of Ranakpur. Is a temple whose construction is well – in-scripted in 1437 CE Copper – plate record. It is filled with minutely worked out devakulikas, mandapas, marble pillars, stupas and so on. It’s unmatched beauty is not to be missed. We take a break here as we serve you lunch at this beautiful and serene place. After lunch we will move back to Udaipur.
Day 11 - Udaipur and Mumbai
Mumbai is famous for Chatrapati Victoria Terminus which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site (it took 10 years to complete it), Elephanta Caves (UNESCO WORLD Heritage site), Mumbai Fort and Marine Drive (the local beach side). Lunch will be at one of the best restaurants in Mumbai. Dinner shall be served in the pre – booked hotel only.
Day 12 - Mumbai
After enjoying the breakfast in the hotel, we head towards the famous Elephanta Caves. Afterwards, you will be taken to the Mumbai fort, the Marine drive and obviously the Gateway of India. You will return to the hotel in the evening. Spend your night in Mumbai.
Day 13 - Mumbai
This is the last day of the tour and we shall escort you back to airport for your way back home – as per your schedule.
